Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Theresa Rivera, de 81 años, residente de Buda, Texas, el 1 de noviembre de 2025. Theresa nació el 16 de julio de 1944, hija de Antonio Villegas y Viviana Ruiz, en Aguililla, Michoacán, México.
Theresa será recordada con cariño por sus hijas Angélica Judy, Erica Isela y Olga Leticia; sus nietos Crystal, Viviana, Amanda, Amari, Joe, Alijah y Cuckies; sus hermanos Socorro, Nena y Lupe; su compañero de vida, José Álvarez; y toda su querida familia.
Le precedieron en la muerte su padre y su madre; sus hermanos Ricardo y Antonio; y su hermana Carmen.
El velatorio tendrá lugar en la funeraria Bastrop Providence el lunes 3 de noviembre de 2025 de 4 a 8 pm, y el rezo del Santo Rosario comenzará a las 7:00 pm.
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Theresa Rivera, age 81, of Buda, Texas on November 1, 2025. Theresa was born on July 16, 1944 to Antonio Villegas and Viviana Ruiz in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico.
Theresa is lovingly remembered by her children Angelica Judy, Erica Isela and Olga Leticia; her grandchildren, Crystal, Viviana, Amanda, Amari, Joe, Alijah, and Cuckies; her siblings, Socorro, Nena, and Lupe. As well as her companero de vida, Jose Alvarez and all her extended family she loves so much.
She was predeceased by her father and mother; her brothers, Ricardo and Antonio; and sister, Carmen.
A visitation with family will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 4-8pm, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.
