For all the years i came to Buffalo to ref the games you and Ellen always treated me like family.
Our conversation this past Christmas will always be with me.
I know you are at that special bar in heaven telling God the right way to make a drink.
Save a bar stool for me.

So sorry to hear about Mudd's passing. I hadn't run into Mudd in a few years, but encountered him a lot as a younger basketball official. Even though I am from Jamestown, he was always ready with a smile and words of encouragement and helpful hints to be a good official. Is Colleen married to Keith Kovell from Jamestown that I went to school with?

So sorry to hear about Mudd. I hadn't run into Mudd in a few years, but encountered him many times while I was a new basketball official. Even though I was a southern tier guy, he was always ready to help and make suggestions to help me get better. Plus a story or two.

Meghan and family,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. May your memories get you through this difficult time.

I was very sorry to learn of Mudd's passing. He was a good man; I always enjoyed company and his unique sense of humor. I respected his generousity and his community involvement. Mudd represented the very best of Edgewood Avenue and South Buffalo. May he rest in peace.
