I know it had been a few years but I just found out of his death. I have to tell once again my favorite Tim Marcum story. Just learned of Coach's passing. I played for Coach Tim at Ranger. It was not hard to see he was heading for the top!

I was the team doc for the last 8 years that Tim was the coach and we were good friends. I echo the sentiment that those who knew him well knew of his big heart. He loved football, but even more he loved his players. I remember my first year when we won the Arenabowl here in Tampa. A few weeks after he called me into his office and took out a ring sizer and asked be to give him my ring size. I broke into a smile and said "I get a ring too?" He said "Of course Doc, You are...

Rarely have I ever seen such a glow, a spark and enthusiasm in discussing a man as when Mitzi and Michelle spoke of their COACH. Their love of THEIR DAD will always be seen in their faces and heard in the stories they continue to tell. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
