Not sure what to say?

Tim and I were very good friends at Tunstall High School and we performed in two musicals together there, BRIGADOON and WEST SIDE STORY. I have many fond memories of him. He had a great sense of humor, and a brilliant mind. Although we lost touch shortly after high school, I have thought of him often. I'm not surprised to learn he had a life filled with scholarship and travel. I hope he had many happy times; I'm sure he brought light to everyone who knew him. I will remember him always with...

Lee Ann and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of one so dear to you all. You have and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Joan Brumfield

To the Carter family:
Words cannot express the shock and grief that I feel over learning of Tim's death. Tim was the "gift" in GIFTED...His inquisitiveness, persistence, observance, wisdom, and his ability to communicate with all people was amazing. He did more in one lifetime than most of us could even dream about. I have such wonderful memories of times spent laughing with Tim and the rest of your wonderful family. May our wonderful God give you the ability to get through...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Tim as a little boy

To my brother, Tim

I will always remember the day mama and daddy brought you home from the hospital. My sisters and I held you lovingly as you were placed in our arms. Daddy had chosen your first name Timothy and your middle name, Neal, was the same as our mother's. At a young age, you loved to read the encyclopedias where you could read about famous people and events and dream of far away places. You were the scholar and the dreamer in our family. You were also the...

To all of Tim's family and friends,

I was shocked today to hear of Tim's passing. It's certainly not something you expect when you work with students and I cannot imagine your sense of loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I have been so very proud of his many accomplishments. Even in far away Miami I heard bits and pieces over these many years. If it's not too late please let me know when his memorial is scheduled (lawr3188@roadrunner.com). Kentucky is certainly a lot...

To all of the wonderful Carter family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your son, brother, uncle, and loved one. I was so amazed at the wonderful life Tim must have led and the lives he must of touched from reading his obituary. I know you are so saddened with the knowledge of his death, but just hold on to those wonderful memories. He did things that most of us only dream of doing. His life made a difference! I love each and every one of you! My prayers have been and continue to be...

Rest in peace, Old Friend. I have missed you all these years; but now I will miss you even more knowing you are no longer in this world. You touched many souls, including mine. Love and prayers to all the family.

I remember Tim quite well from high school. He was brilliant. I enjoyed talking Bible & theology with him in those years we were so young. Prayers for all. May Tim rest in peace & rise in glory. Lisa & I will remember all of you in our prayers.
