Not sure what to say?

Our prayers are with the family. Tommy and my son Zach were in 6th grade together and I so enjoyed watching Mr. Wages at the school! He always had the biggest smile on his face and greeted everyone like they were long lost friends. He had such an incredible spirit and gave so much to all those who knew him.

Tommy Wages was more than the local funeral director to my family. He was like a member of the family. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He always made you feel as comfortable as possible under very difficult times. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Mr. Wages.
i just wanted to let you know that you were not my friends dad, you were kind of like my uncle.i have alot of fun memories about me, you, tommy, and mrs.wages.you were a very wize man, and you were very fun and interesting to talk to.Alot of people were at your funeral and alot of people miss you.I'll see you when i get up ther.

Tommy: I remember you holdimg me when I was a toddler. Down through the years, you have been a friend to me and my family. You took care of us in our times of need. More than 200 relatives, plus many, many friends have passed through the kind loving hands of Tom M Wages.

Not too long ago, I teased you about
the "chaw in your jaw" and you said with a grin, "I have an abscessed tooth." I replied, "False teeth don't absess Tommy."

You responded with, "They...

Our family lived in Gwinnett for generations. Mr. Tom Wages was a true southern gentlemen and icon. The first time I remember seeing him I asked Dad does he have a growth in his mouth? Nah just chewing backy.

I heard many antics of Mr. Wages with some of his side kicks around Lilburn. They were so funny.

You know Gwinnett had changed so much since Mr.Wages worked up in the old house in Lawrenceville for Sammons. But Mr. Wages did not change just got better over...

Truly Tommy is an icon that will be missed around this County! I offer my sympathies to this great family. Tommy was a great friend to my family and especially to my father, Willie Frank Bailey. I loved when my Dad's company was contracted to help build the Snellville Chapel because I had the privilege of having lunch several times with two of Lawrenceville's strongest minds! I shall forever be grateful for that! When Daddy passed, Tommy helped to make it a smooth transition as I know...

I worked for Wards Funeral Home for 40 years and will never forget Tom Wages

Had I known earlier, I would have definately attened Tom's funeral. I just found out and I'm deeply saddened. Wages funeral home took care of my Mother when she passed away almost 8 years ago. I met Tom and his wife Sandra and their son one night at a restaurant. I actually waited on them, and did for a couple of years everytime they came in. I loved him and his family. I thought he was the sweetest man I had ever met. I loved his bow ties!! He would always say hello to the children...

How in this world could anyone not miss, such a man as Tommy? He was always sparkling with laughter and, when he would look at you, you could always feel his sincerest thought of your pain and sorrow and you knew it was real! He will be missed by all who knew him and then some. Oh yes, the jaw of tobacco as well!!
