“Knowing him only as a substitute teacher, I respected this man in many ways, he was a up-lifting encouraging person to be around that always put a smile on your face. It saddens my heart to hear that such a lovely soul has to go. You were a great person Mr Villalobos you will be missed And remembered by many. Thank you for being the good person that you were. Rest In Peace.
“Marianne and Tom's family, Tom was a great guy. I attended St. Mary's with Tom, 1-8. We moved into his neighborhood here in Escondido. I saw his name in the bulletin at St. Mary's and was stunned. He always waved when I was working in the yard . He made ceramic footprints of my kids. I am sorry for your loss. I will remember him in my prayers
“MY DEAR LITTLE BROTHER, I MISS YOU SO MUCH. YOU ALWAYS SHOWED YOUR LOVE AND KINDNESS TO OUR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS TO YOUR NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS.
I WILL MISS YOUR OPEN AND HONEST CONVERSATIONS,AND OUR TRIPS TO THE BEACH, SITTING AROUND THE FIRE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, ENJOYING THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY THAT SURROUNDED US.
YOU TAUGHT ME SO MUCH ABOUT LIFE.
I KNOW YOU ARE ONLY GONE FOR A SHORT TIME, AND WE WILL MEET AGAIN IN PARADISE.
“Tom I can't miss you because you are still every where I go ...

“I was at the Elks Club doing line dancing on the morning of his memorial. I saw his photo and name and INSTANTLY knew that I knew him, but I couldn't place how or where. Once I read his obituary, I realized that he had been a substitute teacher at our school in Poway on a number of occasions. We all remembered him to be a sweet and friendly man who always had a ready smile for everyone and a pleasant and genuine greeting. Anyone who knew or even merely met him came away with a good...
