Velma K. Madison, 84, passed away December 20, 2012 at the Ouachita County Medical Center. She was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Madison was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Albert Madison. She is survived by four sons, Charles A. Madison and wife, Pamela of Killeen, TX, Archie Madison of Camden, AR, Daniel Madison and wife, Elizabeth of Conroe, TX, and Frank Madison and wife, Brenda, of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Mae Lanell Kidd and husband, David of Hope, AR as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27th. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28th at Proctor Chapel with Rev. James Lindsey officiating followed by interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery..
Please except our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. I had the opportunity to know her recently ,but also when she cared for her twin sister. She was a wonderful person. Please let us know if there is anything that we may do for any of you.
