Not sure what to say?

Sr. Vera was wonderful to me when I was a student at St. Kate's. she was a terrific teacher and wonderful person. I was blessed to know her!

Each fall, participants in the Adult Education Program at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Bloomington looked forward to Sr. Vera's Monday Morning classes. She taught us, she entertained us and she broadened our Catholic minds to appreciate and embrace the many other religions of the World. We will all miss her so much and we hope she is finally able to talk to St. Augustine! On behalf of us all, Dear Sister, we love you and bless you.

She was an amazing, compassionate friend and elder. The universe is brighter with her spirit returning to the creator. May she continue to be that Aurora Borealis in the sky at night. May we always acknowledge and remember the gift of her light in our lives. Lois M

I had the pleasure of working (as external evaluator) with Sr. Vera when she served as coordinator for a major Bush Foundation grant that supported the formation of interdisciplinary faculty learning communities at St. Kate's that had a connection to the broader community. It was wonderful to see the impact this program had on the St. Kate's community and beyond. The caring, collaborative approach to leadership by Sr. Vera and the others at the helm of this program made a huge difference for...

I was so sad to hear about Sr. Vera. She was one of my all time favorite professors. Her humor and approachability made her class so wonderful. She was also my downstairs neighbor in the apartments. It was great to see her outside of the classroom - it made my day.

What a loss! Sr. Vera was a marvelous teacher, theologian and spiritual leader. Wickedly funny and superbly intelligent, her knowledge of world religions was second to none. She will be deeply missed.

It was a pleasure and honor to know such a beautiful person. The sunshine she brought to those she came in contact with.

My memories of Sr. Vera are many. A brilliant intellect along with a wonderful sense of humor, what a great combination! Though I have not seen her for many years, the memories remain. Peace to the memory of a good person, she will be missed.
