Rosemary, so sorry to hear about your father. He was a good roommate for my Dad, Bob Graffam, when they were in the Rehab unit at the Veteran's Home. My father went to heaven on March 5, 2014. This is a hard time.
I know your father liked your plain date filled cookies. Me too!
