Not sure what to say?

I am so deeply saddened - I will miss you Vern, so very much. You enriched my life immeasurably with your wisdom, love, insights, writings and teachings. But more than anything you always welcomed me into your life with gracious hospitality and warmth. My love and condolences to you all - his loving family - who have been so devoted throughout the last months and years.

Dear Vern, I hope you are resting peacefully with all the polka music and beer your heart desires.
Deepest condolences to Rose and all the family.

I enjoyed very much time spent with Vern, whether on committees, prayer groups or coffee/lunch get togethers. A special guy! My sympathy to his family. Peace, Donovan Johnson

Vern, you combine Faith, Love and Service using Fun & Humor as Glue...
a great life ... you managed the metamorphosis!

I did not meet Vern many times, but he and I shared a few emails several years back when I was living in the Czech Republic. He shared some of his recollections of his time there, his bicycle trips, etc. He wrote with great enthusiasm about the Paul family's roots and history. Those will be my lasting memories of Vern.

Jodie , I know how much your father meant to you and how close you were. I am sorry that you have to deal with this pain. Know he is in a better more peaceful place, smiling down on your entire family. Love you dear

I am saddened to hear the news of Vern. Your best friend has been such a blessing in life--to you, your family and many hearts he has touched. May your happy memories keep your heart warm, your love of family keep you close and your faith-give you peace and hope. Prayers are lifted.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You will be remembered in my prayers asking God to give you the strength and faith during this difficult time.
Judy (meyer)

God bless you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
