To the Family of Lee Carter, I worked for Lee at DMV. Lee was a very nice man and I always had a great deal of respect for him. I know he will be greatly missed. I pray God will comfort you during your loss.

My mother & I lived across the street from Mr. Carter for 20some years (up until 2011). He was very kind to us. We are very fortunate to have known him & Mrs. Carter. They both were such kind people & will be missed.

I worked for Mr. Carter when I started working at DMV maybe around 1975ish! He would use the input of his employees before he made changes in the work flow. He would say ask the person who is doing the work to make it better! And my church choir would sing Christmas songs on his street one night he came out and thanked us! My pastor at that time lived across the street from him. He commented about the beautiful music coming from his house! That's the kind of man he was. I enjoyed working...

Lee hired me at Lynchburg DMV in 1966 and was great to work for. So glad that I got to know him. I know he will be missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lee when I worked at DMV. A very nice man, I always enjoyed talking to him. I am sure the family and friends will miss him greatly.
God bless during this time of your loss.
