164th Inf Reg't: Je Suis Pret means 'I Am Ready'

Mr Babbe was a member of the Association for the 164th Infantry Regiment -- the unit that reinforced the Marines at Guadalcanal on 13 Oct 1941. His name will be listed in The Last Roll Call in the July issue of the 164th Infantry News. I would like to request a photo for that purpose and would gladly send copies to the family. Al & Debbie,
So sorry to read about your uncle. With our sympathy and prayers

I wanted to extend my sincere sympathy to your family. Ruth was one of my first clients in beauty school. We had a long and wonderful friendship. I remember fun times stopping by the house to talk with Bill and Ruth. They were fantastic people.

I was saddened to read about the death of William Babbe. Bill was married to my Aunt Ruth and was a friend of my father. My dad and Bill served together in the Pacific during World War 2.

I wish to extend to you and to members of your family my deepest sympathy on your loss. May the Lord's loving promises comfort you and give you strength as you walk through this difficult time. On behalf of a grateful nation and an expression of appreciation for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one, if you wish for a personalized memorial card mailed to you with history of playing of taps, 21 gun salutes, meaning of each fold of the flag as a keepsake, please send...

The DeLaurenti family (Anita and children) wishes to send their condolences to your family. May you find peace in memories of your father.
