William "Bill" Weston Dillingham passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. Burial: private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. Memorials: ASPCA or Paralyzed Veterans. Bill was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Columbia, S.C., to Mary Blackwell and Lee Dillingham. As a young boy, he moved to Mississippi and then to Fort Worth. In 1950, he married his childhood friend, Clara Mozelle "Mo" Hamilton. In his life, Bill served as a Navy diver, honorably discharged. He was a Master Mason and retired from Montgomery Ward as a long-haul truck driver. Bill and Mo were longtime residents of Azle and Springtown. In their spare time they enjoyed camping with family and friends. Bill's enjoyment of life, sense of humor and willingness to always lend a helping hand made him an extraordinary man. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mo; daughter, Karen; parents; and brother, Lee Wallace Dillingham, Jr. Survivors: Niece, Monty Corley and husband, Larry; great-nephews, John Olsen and wife, Karre, Scott Olsen and Kevin Corley; great-great-niece and great-great-nephews, C.J., Blaire and Eric Olsen and Dylan and Ryan Corley; and numerous precious friends.

I used to visit Mo and Bill when they moved to Springtown, traded books with Mo and even got Bill to read.Loved those people.

Bill and my dad were long time friends, loved going to there house with mom and dad, Mo always had something sweet to eat. So sorry for your loss he was a great loving man.My dad was Loy Mullins.
