To Bill Gay and Family,

Bill, I am very sorry for the loss of your father. Based on what I have read in the obituary and by knowing you, I am sure he was a wonderful father. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Shirley and family, we have fond memories of your sweet family at Arlington Presbyterian. Sam was truly a nice man. You all remain in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May our Lord bless you with his peace and comfort now and in the days ahead. Robbie and Lynal DeFalco and family.

Hi Shirley. You do not know me but in grade school in Blacksburg the three of us, Sam, Jack Herring and I were friends who played and went to school together. Also I believe Sam and you went to church in Roanoke with that of my sister Mimi Boynton. I have many treasured memories of the times the three of us spent together as children. I am so sorry to hear of Sam's death and of your loss.

Shirley,
My prayers and sympathy for your loss.
Lots of memories coming back of my times with Sam and the "range". This getting on in years is the most 'not fun' when old friends pass away.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I still remember Sam as the friendly fellow that he was and as a fellow Va Tech Hokie

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I remember coming over to your house as a kid and hanging out with Robbie & Bill. May God grant your entire family peace and serenity. Sam will certainly be remembered.
