Not sure what to say?

It is May, and I am shocked to read of Bill's death! We were fellow classmates in law school. We were not close, but he actually housed and fed me when we were both in England in the summer of 1976. He was working there and I was just backpacking around Europe. I was at that point in time just a mere acquaintance of his and he actually invited me to stay with him and his first wife. He even insisted on my going out with his wife and him to dinner on their 1st Anniversary so I would not be...

To Bill's Family,

I am deeply saddened to just learn of Bill's death. Although we came from very different backgrounds, we had a very fine, close and humor-filled friendship. I so respected Bill's intellect, wit and willingness to argue about anything with anyone, including especially me. We were college roommates for 2 years at UW-Madison, and together marched in protest rallies, drank beer, and cooked each other inedible dinners. We reconnected by email a couple years ago, and...

I was so sad and shocked when a customer from Steven's Point told me about Bill last week. I was a friend from the 1980's and remember fun times at the Monte Carlo and hanging out in Uptown. Sometimes I would run into Bill in the skyways of Mpls and I loved to catch up on his life. I remember him telling me when he met Nancy and how excited he was. We lost touch over the past years but I can imagine what a great husband and father he was. He was one of the kindest people I have ever met and...

Surprised by the announcement- Knew Bill well through early grade school and into high school- our paths crossed often during those years- Trick or treating-overnight stays-cub scouts etc- I saw him once during the last ten years- and like his father he rarely forgot a face and his friends. We wish the family joy in his life well celebrated and fond memories into the next many years- our condolences.

Bill was a high school classmate of mine and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Please accept my codolences.

I was sad and sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I remember what a tease Bill was to Sue and Mary as a young teenager but still lovable & how serious he could be at times with school & watching his stocks go up &down. He was a fun young man. Our sympathies go out to Mary & Sue and the entire Joanis Family.

Bill was the love of my life back in elementary and junior high school. Alot of memories there, first dance, first kiss. He will remain in my heart always. My condelences to all of his family.

I worked with Bill on various legal matters for over 20 years. I will miss his enthusiasm and intellect. My condolences to his family.

My prayers go out to the family. It has been many years but the joanis family was a big part of my life. Little will.
