Not sure what to say?

a terrible and sudden loss

Bill and I first became friends at a professional convention in 1979. His warm personality, smiling attention, and genius shorthand talent drew me to him quickly, and he always said, including in our last phone conversation, that we were members of a very important mutual admiration society. He was unique in countless ways, quiet and understated yet easily impacting lives with his genuine interest in and caring for others, often with just the right touch of humor. I learned much from him...

So sad. Bill was a person I very much looked up to. Wonderful person!! Enjoyed my time on the Hill working with him. Just soooo sad.

Bill was a kind, thoughtful and caring man who loved his family. Having worked with him for over 5 years, I know he was an excellent reporter and someone who could always be counted on. His faith was also a big part of his life and we often shared with each other our mutual love for the Lord. He will be missed!

My prayers are with you. I knew Bill as a kind, generous, patient, very intelligent, hardworking Christian man, and the best coworker one could ever wish for. I pray you will take comfort in the fact that he is in Heaven and his soul will live on forever in Christ.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sympathy. May God give you peace in this time of sorrow. Rom 15:33.

My condolences to the Odom family for the loss of your dear loved one. May visits from family and friends comfort you. May prayers to the God of all comfort strengthen you. He promises to comfort all the mourning ones. (Isaiah 61:2)

I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was a gem of a colleague to work with, always professional, warm and approachable with a quiet, comical demeanor.

May you find strength and comfort in the love of family and friends for the many challenging days ahead.
