“Lynn - I just found out about Billy and want to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was in the class of '73 and played baseball with Billy my 1/c year (his 4/c year). Billy was a great guy and I looked forward to seeing him every year while he was coaching the Bears as I would take the family to a home game each season. As late as it is since Billy passed I did want you to know that I was thinking of you and your family.
“God never forgets our works, especially if found in the way of righteousness Hebrews 6:10. Mr. Schmitz has done so many good things for people, God will remember him.
“I just found out my old classmate jumped to his death. I can't begin to express my shock and sorrow. My prayers are with his family.
