We always really enjoyed our bridge club times with Bill. He set a fine example of being a good sport! Our sympathy to the family, especially Carolyn, who was a classmate of our son Tom. Richard and Joan Smith

Bill was one of those memorable friends I was privileged to know for many years at work and play. He was a gentleman in everything he did. In retirement we played golf and bridge until his passing. He will be missed by very many people.

Bill was a real gentleman, a backyard neighbor, and a long time friend. He will be truly missed!

So sorry for your loss. As a deacon at First Presbyterian Church I had the pleasure to visit with your dad and share about the mill life as my father, Paul Weissert had worked at Midwest Steel and was also a church member with your parents. I certainly appreciated his sense of humor.Karen Weissert Huguenard
