Not sure what to say?

Such a very impt. part of my life growing up. I am so lucky to have been known by this wonderful and patient man. He is happy with his love in heaven but until we see again I say, I love you Bill and am so happy that aunt Chris brought you into our family. Now I can talk to you daily without the help of wires. Prayers and best wishes always, Pat

I remember fondly his gentle and gracious care for me as I was growing up. May he rest in peace, and rise in glory!

Truly a fine, fine man. He will be missed....until we meet again. Say hello to Aunt Chris for me Uncle Bill.

Love,

Margie

I, too, served on the USS Appalachian in the Marine Detachment. I'm a Brooklyn boy and sorry I did not know that William was in San Ramon. Would like to talk to any of you. MY phone is 415-824-5097 (in San Francisco). My condolences.

I loved talking Notre Dame football with Mr. Shanahan! Rest in peace and God be with you.

Pop Pop will always have a special spot in our hearts. We are so thankful the McCarthys shared him with us.
