“I will always remember Bill's words of wisdom in my difficult times. He had a heart of gold beneath his beautiful rough facade.
“We recently moved to the area and Bill made us feel right at home. He was a nice man and will be missed.
“Wanda and family

“Bill will be greatly missed at the Montpelier Station Post Office.

“My thoughts & prayers go out to the entire family. May you all feel the Lords presence during this difficult time.
“Wanda and family, So sorry for your loss. I remember many good weekends at Bill's preserve hunting and hanging out with him and my parents (Lee & Claudia Winter). “I have many fond memories of my Uncle Billy. When I was a child, my dad (his brother, Chuck) and mom would take us for a fun weekend to Uncle Billy's farm. It was always a treat and I will forever treasure those times. Uncle Billy's nickname for me was his "little Hopey flower".
“I enjoyed shooting with Bill and our conversations riding some to Horseshoe together .
“Wanda, I will miss Bill very much. He could always make me smile even on what had been a bad day for me.
