Willie Hof

Coach Willie Hof, my high school math teacher, and my 5th cousin twice removed.

We have all lost a fine mentor and a good friend. I was coach Hof's miler on the track team at Holy Cross in 1964 and had several classes under him. He was always soft spoken, offering quiet yet firm advice and encouragement. I have always been grateful to him for allowing me to represent my school. I will remenber him and his family in my prayers.

Dear Elaine and Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy. I have so many wonderful memories of both working with Willie at the tracks and also on vacations. He was a great guy to be around and will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Elaine - My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences are with you and your family. I was very saddened to hear of Willie's sudden passing, but I know the angels are singing in Heaven to have him around. He was a wonderful person - it was an honor to have known him.
