Not sure what to say?

I will always treasure the trips from Alabama to Minnesota with my grandparents to visit Uncle Win and Aunt Helen. All the cousins welcomed me with open arms and we had some really special times camping and at the lake. I loved all the Christmas letters and I am grateful that I got to see him two years ago on his birthday! He will be sorely missed.

I so wish I could be with you all for the memorial service. My heart is full of love for you all. Uncle Win was so special in my young life....and yes even 2 years ago when Wynn, Mary Beth, and I were able to visit him...he saw me in the doorway and immediately he announced "Shirley Kay"! It was a great visit and I am so thankful for the opportunity to hug and yes, kiss him! He leaves me the eldest now...so I am in charge! My orders: To love, honor and serve one another. Keep...

I was fortunate to know and work with Win for many years at Douglas Corporation. He had zest for life and enthusiasm for playful mischief that delighted all. Win was not a follower, evidenced by his joyful habit of going against the current of Southdale mall walkers while wearing his "Wrong Way Hansen" t-shirt. He'll be missed.
