SCOTT, Norah Ellen . Passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 98 years of age. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Edgar and her daughter Maureen Grears. She is survived by her sons Robert Scott (Peggy) and James Scott, son-in-law Doug Grears (Terri), granddaughters: Andrea Scott, Debbie Johnston (Chris), Christine Johnson (Derek) and Jill Poulsen (Dave); great grandchildren: Brandon, Andrew, Carmen and Erik as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Norah completed her nursing degree in Manitoba before moving to Ocean Falls where she met and married Frank Scott. Together in 1957, they moved to Port Alberni where Norah worked at the Hospital. Nora was an avid bridge player, an active member of the Anglican Church and a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed time at the float house in Kildonan and the cottage at Ahmah Island. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren and family and she will be dearly missed and remembered for being a loving wife, wonderful mother and a generous, kind and gentle grandmother. A Service of remembrance will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Trinity Church, 4766 Angus Street, with Rev. G. Pell officiating. Cremation has taken place.
