"Chris" was born in Melksham, England. He was trained in the Fleet Air Arm of the British Navy then settled in Vancouver following WW2. He married Bernice and had two daughters, Michele and Andrea (Ian, grandson Jack). Chris became a resident of Nanaimo after taking a position with the Credit Union later serving on their Board in his retirement. He enjoyed tennis at Westwood, summers on Thetis Island, playing piano and was a veracious reader. Chris passed away at Nanaimo Seniors Village with his long time love and companion Marcie at his side at 87. Sincere gratitude to the caring staff at NSV. A gathering of family and friends took place on July 19th in Yellow Point.
