William M. McKinley, age 74, a resident of Naperville since 1987, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at his home in Naperville. He was born November 22, 1940 in Bloomington, IL. William had worked in management for Navistar for over forty years. He was a longtime and very active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Naperville where he served as a "Host Greeter" on the "Temple Keepers" committee and did gardening on the church grounds. He was also a member of the Corvette Car Museum and the Brook Crossing Gourmet Club. He is survived by his wife Jean (nee Bachman) McKinley, a brother Robert (Carol) McKinley and many nieces, nephews, in laws and cousins. He was preceded in death by his four children Daniel, Nicholas, Tammy and Stephanie and a sister Carol Mateika. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, 9:45 a.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Dr., Naperville to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd. Naperville for a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora, IL.
