Joseph Guziec Obituary
Joseph Richard Guziec, age 84, of Naperville and formerly a longtime resident of Downers Grove, passed away on October 7, 2016. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 26, 1931. Joe is survived by his sons: Tim (Sue) of Naperville and Mike of Lemont; daughter-in-law: Stephanie Guziec of Naperville; grandchildren: Jessica, Allison, Andrew, Arriena and Robert, all of Naperville and Mathew, Steven, Jacob and Joshua of Lemont. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Maryann Guziec (nee Obidzinski); parents: Joseph and Mary (nee Winkowski) Guziec; and his son Dan Guziec. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Dr., Naperville. My condolences to the entire Guziec family. I liked Uncle Joe and he was fun to be around. Lots of parties and picnics..all good. When he came over I would ask him how many fingers? Of Vodka of course! And suspenders! I will remember him by the suspenders! The lyrics to Turn, Turn,Turn have helped me get through some hard times

Uncle Joe(the original chicken man) and Danny(prodigy) are both gone now but I am sure they are in heaven, summer day, in a backyard and waiting for the first chicken leg to drop off, ...smiling...........
