Mary K. Valenti

Mary was a long time resident of Naples, FL. She was one of the first residents of Golden Gate, employed by Gulf American, which was responsible for the promotion of the city. She was later employed by Remuda Ranch (now known as Isle of Capri) in the Everglades. She was a resident of Country Club Manor on Rattlesnake Hammock Road for over 20 years.

During her career she worked for Sunshine Stores, Park Shore Resorts and as a restaurant hostess before returning to the hotel business at the Naples Registry (now Waldorf Astoria), where she retired after 19 years of service.

In 2007, she moved to West Vancouver, British Columbia, to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

Mary entered the hospital April 2nd and passed peacefully April 22nd, 2013 with family by her side.

She is survived by her daughter, son-inlaw, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends; all who will miss her wit and wisdom.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Paul Sugar and staff for his support and comfort.
