Wow. This picture is the perfect memory of how Dave looked every time I saw him. Great memories from Grand Chapter to Reunions. I recited one of our Sigma Chi value statements after finding out about Dave's passing, and line by line Dave lived his life. Jordan would have been proud to have known him, as I have had the privilege to do so. Thoughts and prayers to the Fisher family.
Godspeed, my brother!

I attended many Naples Sigma Chi alumni lunches with Dave. We were both alumni of Florida Southern and the Sigma Chi fraternity there. Dave was always friendly and made me feel like he was watching out for me. Taking care of me. I remember hearing at a funeral two years ago, "You have not really lost something if you know where it is." What a great comfort to know that my friend's soul is at peace in heaven with our Lord. Words seem shallow in times of grief, but my prayer is that your time of sorrow will be tempered by time and the celebration of Dave's new eternal life. In God's timeline, your time apart is but a brief moment in anticipation of an eternity of victory. May your memories and faith comfort you until you are joined again. I wish you and your family peace and strength during this time of mourning. You will draw strength from your faith. May He hold you firmly in His grasp as you go through this. "The Lord will answer you in times of trouble. The name of the God of Jacob will protect you. He will send you help from his holy place." Psalms 20:1 GWT

Dear Pam and family members,
May you all know that Dave was a wonder and kind person who always wore a smile. He did the "right" thing so many time for so many.
My grandson always remarks ( he is now 32 and in the Navy) what fun it was to attend ball games with you all. It was a lucky day for me when you moved in across the street on Foxfire Lane. He was a special person to so many. He also was truly happy to attend his last fraternity reunion (Sigma Chi) but seemed tired. Now he can rest. My deepest sympathy to all of the Fisher family.
