Frances Nell Krumrei Naples, FL
Frances Nell Krumrei died peacefully surrounded by her family in Naples, FL on November 27, 2013. She was born August 5, 1925 in Hazel, KY. The family moved to Michigan in 1937 where Frances later met and married Erich II, with whom she shared 69 wonderful years together.
Frances was a member of the DAR. She retired as a LPN at Sinai Hospital in Detroit and later owned a flourishing book store in Clawson, MI.
At their retirement, the couple moved to Naples where Frances took great pleasure playing Mah Jongg, and visiting with her family and friends. Frances especially loved spending summers at their island home at the 'Bay' in Northern Canada, listening to the wail of the loons, and sharing the ways and sounds of nature with her family.
Frances is survived by her husband, Erich II; sons, Erich III and wife, Sharon of Michigan, David and wife, Bonnie of Tennessee; sister, Barbara Fisher and husband, Robert of Bonita Springs. She treasured her grandchildren, Erich IV (Rachel), Kelly (Ferdinand), Erin (Florian), and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Connor, Nora, Tessa, and Connor; and wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jack and wife, Virginia.
Special thanks to Dr. Rachel Caskey and the doctors and nurses at NCH in Naples.
A Celebration of her life will be held at Countryside in Naples, FL in early January 2014 at a day and time to be announced.
