Linda Pond Daneau

Bonita Springs, FL

Linda Pond Daneau, 57, of Bonita Springs, died tragically on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident. Formerly of Brentwood, NH, she had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1988. Linda was born December 28, 1955 in Newburyport, MA, a daughter of Charles and Marion (Hunter) Pond. She attended Exeter High School in Exeter, NH and graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's of Science degree in nursing. Linda was employed with North Collier Hospital for over 21 years and was currently working at Southwest Florida Home Care.

She enjoyed photography, cooking, traveling, and mastering many different types of arts and crafts. She also had a passion for gardening and was a proud member of the Mayflower Society.

Linda is survived by her loving children, Daniel (Laura) Daneau of Los Angeles, CA and Christine (Levi Briscoe) Daneau of Quincy, MA; mother, Marion Pond of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Lisa (Jay) Hill of Fort Myers, FL; and husband of 33 years, Daniel Daneau of Bonita Springs, FL.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Pond.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs, FL 34134.

Linda dedicated her final years to taking care of her elderly mother and her family would request that donations are made to Avow Hospice in lieu of flowers at www.avowcares.org/donate.
