Monty B. Hackney Naples, FL

Monty Hackney, of Naples FL, was surrounded by family as he went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2012. Monty was born on July 7, 1950 in Tallahassee, FL. He was the son of Al and Sandy Hackney of Naples, and was the second of eight children.

Monty was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Hazel Lucille Hackney.

Monty is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Fluharty-Levenson (Marc); his granddaughter, Zoe; and by his siblings, Alfred J. Hackney II (Mary) of Naples, Charles R. Hackney (D.J.) of Lakeland, Stephen Q. Hackney (Sandra) of Naples, Lisa N. Cox (Greg) of LaBelle, George W. Hackney, (Lucinda) of Naples, and Horace H. Hackney, (Theresa) of Temple Terrace, FL. Monty was a loving uncle and is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and greatnephews.

A celebration of Monty's life will be held at the family home in Naples on December 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., and all friends of Monty and his family are welcome.
