Sally Daniels Naples, FL
Sally Daniels, 89, of Naples died on May 3, 2012. Sally spent most of her adult life in Newton, MA where she raised her four children. Her husband, Arnold Daniels died in 1998.
Arnold and Sally started an international management consulting business in 1955, which continues to grow and thrive today.
Sally had a passion for music of all kinds, for art of all styles, for fashion, for opera, for theatre. She loved to argue politics and watch the world evolve through her interest in current events. She had a quick wit and a sense of humor that made her a joy to be around. She and her husband traveled the world, making lifelong friends all along the way.
Sally had an insatiable appetite for learning about different countries and their cultures. She did not just pass through as a tourist but got to know the people through their art, their food and their music. She integrated it all into her own life in some way.
Sally will be remembered for her humor, generosity and the stature with which she carried herself. Her bravery in facing some of life's most difficult challenges and her undaunted love of life are part of her legacy. Sally touched many people.
Her memory will continue on as the bright, guiding light for her surviving daughter, Elisabeth, of Naples, FL. She leaves her first great grand baby, Ava Elisabeth, who came along just a year ago and, in some ethereal way, Sally will have the joy of watching Ava grow into a wonderful, wise, funny, extraordinary person just like each of her parents, Kaitlyn and Mark who brought Sally immeasurable happiness over her last months.
She was preceded in death by her children, Arnie, Stephen, and Dinah.
A memorial service for Sally will be held Wednesday, May 9th, 2:00 p.m. at the Fuller Funeral Home located at 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112. Reception to follow.
Final committal will be at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, MA.
