Basil V. Mussio Naples, FL

Basil V. Mussio passed away peacefully on August 26, 2013 in Naples, FL. Born on March 20, 1934 in Ann Arbor, MI.

He was preceded in death by his first wife (Mary Alice); his parents Agostino and Lucy Mussio and a brother, Daniel Mussio.

He is survived by his loving second wife, Berty (Reinhard) Mussio and her family, also sisters Tina Galardi and Lucy Anderson. Four children, Caron (Karl) Milkey of Florida, William of Florida, James (Lisa) of Florida, Stephen (Kathy) of Michigan. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two greatgranddaughters.

He retired after 30 years in education. He worked at Milan H.S., St. Thomas H.S., The International School of Brussels Belgium and Collier County Schools. He worked for the Ann Arbor Public Schools for 21 years as a teacher, counselor, and 15 years as Principal of Scarlet Middle School. Per his request, cremation has taken place.

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
