Edwin C. Meszynski Jr.; 66
SHIRLEY, MA -- Edwin C. Meszynski Jr., 66, a resident of Shirley for over 40 years, died Monday, Jan. 6, in Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Kathryn M. (Cooper) Meszynski; two sons, Edwin C. Meszynski III, and his wife, Alysia, of Greenville, NH, and Erik J. Meszynski of Gardner, MA; five grandchildren, Arthur, Annabelle, Susannah, Isaac and Gretta Meszynski.
Mr. Meszynski worked for the Allen Organ Co. in White Plains, NY for several years, as a repairman. In 1970, he and his wife moved to Shirley and opened the Church Technology Co., a company that sells and services Church organs and bells all across New England. He and his wife, were both Real Estate Agents with Squanicook Associates in Townsend, MA.
Edwin was a 1965 graduate of St. Michaels High School in Yonkers, NY, and was a member of St. Anthony Parish in Shirley. He was a member of the Renegade-Miata Racing Club and enjoyed restoring his 1800 circa home in Shirley and gardening.
He was a Veteran of Vietnam War
, serving in the U.S. Air Force
Edwin was born in Yonkers, NY, on May 4, 1947, the son of the late Edwin C., and Josephine P. (Rudzick) Meszynski Sr.
MESZYNSKI -- Edwin's Funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 11, from the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 763 Mass Ave., Lunenburg, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 14 Phoenix St., Shirley, MA. Calling hours at the Funeral Home are on Friday, Jan. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m.
