PEPPERELL, MA -- Mary Elizabeth (LoVetere) Campano, 71, of Pepperell, MA, died peacefully at home on June 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on October 9, 1942 in Somerville, MA, daughter of the late John A. and Mary E. (Bradley) LoVetere. Mary attended Stoneham High School and was a proud graduate of Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing, Boston, MA.
She enjoyed a distinguished career in nursing in Vermont and Massachusetts. She was a devoted nurse for 17 years at Pepperell Family Practice. Close to her heart was her 30 years of work as a trustee to the Lawrence Library in Pepperell, MA.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Anthony G. Campano also Survived by her loving children, Beth McNulty (Campano) and husband, Michael of Groton, MA, Anthony M. Campano and wife, Sue of Pepperell, MA, Matthew J. Campano and wife, Sarah of Hollis, NH.
Lovingly adored and who will greatly miss their Grammy, her eight granddaughter's, Molly, Abigail, Paige, Madelyn, Sydney, Madison, Baily and Olivia. Also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews; her beloved brother, Joseph D. LoVetere and wife, Jeanne (Bohling) of North Reading, MA. Loving sister of the late Jeanne (LoVetere) Hume and John A. LoVetere.

Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM at the Hamilton-McGAFFIGAN Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte 113), Pepperell, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM, Saturday at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 777 West Hollis St., Nashua, NH In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Mary's name to the Lawrence Library, 15 Main St., Pepperell, MA 01463.
