DEVENS -- Helen M. (Murphy) Bradshaw, 86, of Devens, formerly of Bedford, died peacefully at home on May 10, 2013, following a lengthy illness.
Beloved wife of the late Edwin R. Bradshaw, Jr.
Helen was born and raised in Clinton, daughter of the late Richard L. Murphy and Agnes (O'Malley.)
Helen was a doting and loving mother to Kevin, and wife, Tina of Devens, Terence and wife, Melissa of Haverhill, and Brian of Bedford. Cherished Nana of Meaghan, Andrea and Thomas of Devens, Nicole and Sean of Bedford. Most caring Aunt of Alana Limber (Murphy) and the late Mary Agnes Murphy of Clinton; loving sister of the late Richard Murphy of Clinton.
Helen graduated from Simmons College, class of '48. She worked in publishing and for the U.S. Air Force in Boston. She was a devoted Catholic, a member of St. Michael's Parish in Bedford for more than 40 years. Helen was a fan of the Boston Braves, the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She enjoyed written correspondence with friends and relatives across the country, especially her lifelong friend, Marie (Sissy) O'Toole of Clinton.
BRADSHAW -- A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 17th at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Parish, 31 Shirley St., Ayer, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the
