Peter SMUSZKOWICZ Obituary
Passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, with his family by his side. Holocaust survivor and partisan fighter, beloved husband of Alina. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Adam and Kate, Ben and Barbara. Cherished grandfather of Jessica and Ryan, Lisa, Alexis and Chelsea. Survived by sister Genia Zeligman and predeceased by brother David Smuschkowitz. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles W, Thornhill. Interment at Bathurst Lawn Cemetery. Shiva to be observed at 24 Lytton Blvd., Richmond Hill (evening services at 7 p.m., visitors are welcome from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.). Memorial donations may be made to the St. Michael's Foundation Cancer Fund 416-864-5000 or to the Yad Vashem Canada 416-785-1333.
