André LÉVEILLÉ Obituary
1933 - 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monsieur André Léveillé, on January 18, 2017, at the age of 83. His remembrance will vividly remain in the hearts of those whom have loved, known and admired him. He leaves to mourn his son François; his grandchildren Vanessa and Hans; his sister Evelyn Richard; his brother Guy (Denise Laplante); his sister-in-law Claire Bérard and many relatives and friends. Among other positions he was accountant for Blue Cross, Executive Secretary of the Montreal Labor Council of the FTQ, elected and represented the Maisonneuve county at the National Assembly of Quebec from 1966-1970 for the Union Nationale, Interim leader of the same in 1985, and wrote a book: "le Japon, hier, aujourd'hui et demain". The family will receive condolences on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Yves Légaré Funeral Complex. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Hôpital général de Montréal for their wonderful support and care. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
