Sam and I were good friends. I do not know of a single person who who did not like Sam. We worked at school together and at the polls. We both loved computers and talking about them. I will miss Sam very much. Thanks for being my friend

I know that there are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. George touched many lives, and is deeply missed. May the God of all comfort be with you all during this time of grief, and always. (John 6:40) I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sam was the DJ at my wedding back in 1987. He was such a jolly soul and made my special day even better by being a part of it. He made me a cassette tape of the music he played that night and I still have it. I will think of him with fond memories when I listen to it. God be with all of you through this difficult time. My deepest sympathy.

Sam and I worked together at Lincoln Elementary School. He always brought a smile and often a joke when he worked on the computers. I moved away but kept in touch with emails. Several weeks ago I saw Sam when I stopped for gasoline at the Love's Truck Stop in Roselawn. We chatted about all sorts of things. I left there with a smile on my face. Sam had not changed one bit. He was still kind, considerate, friendly and funny. His death has been a hard blow to all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to Becky and all their family.

What wonderful stories I am reading here of Sam. He was a great man! Don and I had known him back in 78-79. We helped him move Becky in with him. We sadly lost touch with him over the years. We have had very fond thoughts of him throughout the years. God Bless you Sam! Our thoughts are with Becky and all of the family. Joy, Don and Sue Huss.

Sam was a free soul, and we had some fun times back in the days. He could whistle like a cop's whistle and would stop traffic frequently. RIP Friend!

Did not have the priviledge of knowing Sam, since I was an FNG. But I can figure what kind of man you were, from how your death affected the membership. They all spoke well of you on Monday night in Athens. You are loved and respect by your brotherhood.
God bless your bride, Cory, and the rest of your family. We will be praying for God to heal their broken hearts. God bless.

This county has lost one of its best. Bigger than life was our Sam. He was every ones friend and more than just liked, he was magnetic and made a statement with his gigantic personality. Will miss you, but knowing you will never be out of our hearts. God Bless you and your loving family.
