Sorry it's been so long since we have written. You have an amazing granddaughter named to Emily Jo Gawith-Castro. So letting you know you are a grandfather and are soon to be a grandfather of two amazing grandkids. Josh said I have a big job ahead of me to be a grandmother and a grandfather we share your memories everyday and Emily definitely knows who her grandfather is she sees pictures of you all the time in the beginning and she thought it was Daddy :). We finally got all of our stuff back from California we are taking great care of your belongings. They are now Josh's belongings and he cherishes every single thing. We love you so dearly and celebrate you every year on your birthday and on the day we lost you either way we still celebrate our amazing life we had together. Till we all are together again we love you so dearly xoxooxo !!

THE BROKEN CHAIN
Author Unknown

We little knew that morning;
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to loose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You're always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

You had such an amazing presence Joe. I will never forget the times we had together every day. We'd be doing absolutely nothing and be laughing our butts off! I'll have an egg salad sandwich for us. We'll take care of "J". I miss you so much. I love you.
