We have such fond memories of both Bob and Ginny and our time together at our former church in San Marcos. He contributed such wisdom to the men's studies. His zeal for missions and teaching, together with his love for people was evident in everything he did. Bob's homegoing is our loss, and we pray for all of you in his family, but we know he is enjoying a reunion with Ginny and so many others who have gone before. Well done, Bob!

Mr. Williamson was amazing--my AP History class junior year was one of the best classes I have ever taken (including college and grad school). What a kind, generous, gentle soul who could bring so much out of a crowd of raucous teenagers. My heart goes out to his family. Best, Melanie Domres (S.D.H.S. Class of 1982)

Mr. Williamson will always be one of my favorite teachers. He allowed me to write poems as my answers on test. His encouragement has led me to continue writing and he spurred a love of reading both history and any book I could get my hands on. My prayers are with all of you. Kim Sturdevan-Feuer

I also have many fond memories of Mr. Williams at San Dieguito. You were lucky to have him as your Dad. Fond hugs in his memory. -Sigrid Twomey (Emswiler)

What a wonderful life Mr. Williamson has had. He was my teacher over 50 years ago. He is a wonderful example of what teachers do--they touch the future. Please be comforted knowing that he lives in our memories and through what he taught us. He still had that engaging smile when I spoke with him at the San Dieguito 70th Roundup at Del Mar in 2007. I am so grateful that we were able to meet again after so many years. May God continue to bless you. You will be in my thoughts during his Celebration of Life.

Received a phone call today from my mother learning of Mr. Williamson's passing. Bob and Virginia were our backyard neighbors along with their sons Gary and Bruce during our early school years in Encinitas. Childhood memories of Bob's new Renault, Virgina ironing shirts, playing in nearby field lots with Gary and Bruce, eating fresh baked cookies made by Virginia's mother, flood my mind. Bob was a great neighbor, dedicated teacher, and committed Christian. On behalf of my parents, George & Jean Mayfield, my brother George Mayfield, and myself, we pray God's grace and peace for you all.

Bob Williamson was my high school History teacher over 35 years ago! He was a kind, caring man with a love of History, people and God. He made the world a better place. Liz Johnson
