Helen (Tiny) Carpenetti, 81, of Nicholson, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Geisinger CMC of Scranton. Her husband of more than 50 years, Mariano Carpenetti, preceded her in death in May of 2003.
Born in Nicholson, she is the daughter of Susan Forkal Golomboski and the late Michael Golomboski.
Tiny lived in the area her entire life. She worked at Lochen's Market as a grocery clerk for many years. Tiny loved being with people and had a warm, loving smile. She enjoyed music, dancing, and her flower garden.
Tiny was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are three sons: Leo and wife Debra of Scott Township, Robert and wife Penny of Milton, and David and wife Mary Kay of Nicholson; two daughters: Monica Turner of Nicholson, and Pat Carpenter and husband Carl of Factoryville; a sister, Sally Arnold and husband Herbie of Uniondale; her mother, 99-year-old Susan Golomboski of Tunkhannock; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday evening, Feb. 16, in the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State Street, Nicholson.
