Paul E. Cook

Paul E. Cook, 69, of Lawton, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Meadow View Senior Living Center, after a brief illness.
He was born in Tunkhannock, to the late Chester R. and Florence E. (Hoover) Cook.
Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Beatrice "Bea" (Brandt) Cook, Wyalusing; four daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle and John Watson of Whitney Point, N.Y., Karen and Joe Jones of Lima, Ohio, Lisa and David Newhart of Stevensville, and Ann and Roy Urciouli of Jacksonville, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Carol Cook, Montrose; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris Cook of South Carolina, Arlene Knapp of South Carolina, Beverly and Ronald Lee of Meshoppen, and Cathy Wildoner and Ed Darling of Meshoppen; 14 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
An infant son predeceased him.
Paul worked for more than 20 years at the Hallstead Foundry, and then worked for Ron Powers Stone Quarry. Paul loved to bowl, and would travel throughout the triple-cities, and Scranton to do so. He loved being outdoors and hunting, he also loved his many cats.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 12, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Pastor Justin Bleuer of the Berean Bible Church, Greene, N.Y., officiating.
Interment will be in the Jersey Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service.
