Donald F. Bishop, 59, of 4398 SR 3001, Meshoppen, passed away at his home early Tuesday morning, Nov. 20, 2012, in Auburn Township, Susquehanna County.
Donald was born on Oct. 6, 1953, in New Hope, N.J., the son of the late Donald and Eileen Polmatier Bishop.
He graduated from Elk Lake High School class of 1971. He also studied two years at the Penn State University Lehman Campus.
Donald was a maintenance supervisor for Bendix Aviation in South Montrose, for a number of years.
He was a member of the Springville United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Springville Fire Company and the National Rifle Association. He loved to hunt, fish, and go antiquing. He especially loved living on the family farm and the country lifestyle.
Donald is survived by his brother Rich Bishop and his wife Julie of Tunkhannock; his sister Jan Brockman and her husband Paul of Meshoppen; as well as many close nieces, nephews, and cousins.
It was Donald's wishes to have a private memorial service to be held at the convenience of the family at a later time.

Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
Arrangements were made through Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Meshoppen.
