Andrea L. Allen 31, of Meshoppen, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at her residence after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Gregory D. Allen Jr.
Andrea was born in Bossier City, La., on Sept. 23, 1977, daughter of Howard W. Comstock, of Laceyville, and Arneta Mason Wayman, of Hobart, N.Y.
She was a graduate of South Kortright Central School class of 1996 and was a former employee of Procter & Gamble in Mehoopany.
Andrea loved being a mother and wife, and she cherished every moment with her son, Avery. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her family and friends. Andrea touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Howard C. Comstock, maternal grandmother Mary Myers Mason, and maternal grandfather Curtis "Sam" Mason.
She is survived by her son Avery B. Allen; stepfather Wayne W. Wayman, of Hobart, N.Y.; sisters Melissa A. Eckert and her usband Paul, of Bloomville, N.Y., and Sarah J. Hallock and her husband Kevin J. of Tunkhannock.
Funeral services are today, Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
Interment in Jersey Hill Cemetery, Meshoppen.
