Danny J. Robinson, 62, of Tunkhannock, unexpectedly passed away Thursday morning, May 9, 2013, at his place of business in Meshoppen.

Danny was born on Nov. 29, 1950, in Meshoppen, the son of the late Ruby E. Teel Robinson and Jim R. Robinson of Tunkhannock.
He was a 1969 graduate of Tunkhannock High School.
Danny owned and operated Danny's Tin Knockin which is his auto body shop in Meshoppen. He had a deep passion for working with cars. He enjoyed building hot rods and years past he restored antique cars and trucks.
He was a member of the Rought-Hall Post #510 Sons of the American Legion, as well as the Meshoppen Men's Club. He was a former member of the Meshoppen Fire Company. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting antique toys.
Danny is survived by his father, Jim R. Robinson of Tunkhannock; his siblings: Regina Salsman of Meshoppen, Jay Robinson and his wife Alice of Tunkhannock, Patsy Robinson of Springville, and Brad Robinson and his wife Lizz of Factoryville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby E. Teel Robinson on Nov. 18, 2010.
It was Danny's wishes not to have any services at this time. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Vaughn Cemetery in Mehoopany.
Arrangements were made through the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so in Danny's name to the Tunkhannock Library, 220 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
