Jessie V. Harvey, 89, of Jenningsville, formerly of Montrose, passed away, Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre.

Born October 13, 1924 in Skinners Eddy, she was the daughter of the late Leslie W. and Maud V. Barber.
Her husband Bernard Harvey predeceased her in 1992.
She was a member of the Montrose United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed collecting Garfield memorabilia, watching NASCAR, playing rummy, putting together puzzles, family cookouts and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and William Phinney of Jenningsville, Grace and David Allen of Harford, Janet Clapper of Lenox, Sandra Fink of Harford, son Ralph Harvey of Thomasville, Fla., 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by daughter Blanche Heeman, sons-in-law Roger Clapper and Doug Fink, daughter-in-law Barbara Harvey, twin sister Bessie Hoover, siblings Charles, Harry and Helen Barber, grandsons Scott Fink and Kevin Fassett, and great grandson Jason Fuller.
