Marjorie Jean McGrew Adams, 95, of Mehoopany, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018.

Born in Bruceton Mills, W.Va., on Oct. 19, 1922, she is the daughter of the late Warren and Althea Haines McGrew.

Marge married the late B. Clifford Adams in 1950. Marge and Cliff moved to Pennsylvania leaving her career as a school teacher. They enjoyed owning a farm and rental properties. They loved having family all around. She was a major part of her children's, grandchildren's, and great grandchildren's lives.

She is survived by son Dean A. Adams and wife Sharon of Orlando, Fla.; daughter-in-law Karin H. Adams of Mehoopany; and brother Warren R. McGrew and wife Kathy of Spring, Texas. Marge has six grandchildren: Dale C. Adams of Georgia, Berne C. Adams IV and wife Mae of Pennsylvania, David M. Adams and wife Koren of Georgia, Amanda A. Roskowski and husband Richard of Florida, Elizabeth A. Ridall and husband of Pennsylvania, and Rebecca A. Aten and husband Timothy of Pennsylvania; and 17 great grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

Marge is proceeded in death by sister Dorothy L. Boulet; brother James S. McGrew; and son Berne C. Adams Jr.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday morning, Jan. 30, from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Interment in Vaughn Cemetery. For online condolences, please visit
