Mary Teresa Yuhas, 55, of Mill City, passed away on Oct. 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Toms River, N.J., on Aug. 8, 1962, Mary was the daughter of the late Eugene McGuire and Mary Coolbaugh.

A 1980 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School, Mary was married to her adoring husband, Joseph Robert Yuhas, in 1982.

Mary treasured her family and enjoyed spending time surrounded by the important people in her life.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded by her sister Kathy McGuire, and brothers Michael and Charles McGuire.

Surviving are her husband Joe of 35 years; her children: Stephanie Jean Yuhas of Scranton and Mark Frances Yuhas of Mill City. She is also survived by her brother Gene McGuire of Texas; stepbrother Buster Coolbaugh of Tunkhannock; and her mother-in-law Dolores Dailey of Lake Winola.

A memorial service given by her brother Gene McGuire, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.

Friends may pay their respects Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the memorial service begins.
