Rose Weisenbacher, 89, of Monroe Twp. died Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2014, at Star Hill Personal Care Home, Monroe Twp.

Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Coolbaugh) Grablutz.
She was a graduate of Meshoppen High School.
She and her late husband, Alfred, owned and operated their own machine repair business for many years. Rose was dedicated to our veterans in volunteering at the VA Medical Center and memberships in the Kingston VFW Post 283, the DAV, and the American Legion Post 457 of Tunkhannock.
Besides her husband, Alfred, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ellwood Newberry; and sister, Irene Eckert.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Weisenbacher and his wife Polly of Beaumont; sister, Dorothy Jones of Dallas; brother, Francis Grablutz of Parsippany, N.J.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was Tuesday evening, April 8, at the Nulton-Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 SR 309, (Beaumont), Monroe Twp. with Barbara Wall of the Alderson United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment at the convenience of the family in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas.
